Silk Floral Arrangements
Unique Ideas and Designs

Here's the fun part!

To make your silk floral arrangements unique and one-of-a-kind I incorporate other non-floral accessories. These "accessories" can be anything from kitchen utensils, mixing bowls, and decorative canisters to Christmas ornaments, jumbo drink glasses, bath towels, and almost anything else. Don't be limited to flowers and "sparkley stuff." If you have a gift idea, I can design the silk floral arrangements around the gift itself and add that little extra something that will be remembered and talked about for years to come.

Giving a multifunctional gift allows for versatility in the use of the gift. It can be used as originally intended by disassembling the pieces or it can be used as home decor.

Other Ideas for fun gifts!

"Spaghetti and Meatballs" silk floral arrangement which includes a metal colander and Oneida serving fork and spoon. The flowers I use are mums with "spidery" looking petals which resemble spaghetti, the meatballs are dark red peonies. This piece is one of several Kitchen Collection novelty items.

Great shower idea!

"Appletini" Bouquet is a jumbo 10" martini glass filled with kelly green marbles and topped off with lilies, small white flowers, and faux cherries.

Just like the real thing!

"Happy Birthday Cake" is a 3-layer piece fully "frosted" with small silk flowers (any color you like), topped off with a pretty flower plume and birthday candles if you'd like.

Ideas are endless in using silk florals since they can be incorporated into any unique container, either functional or nonfunctional, and redesigned over time to meet your changing style needs.

Have a unique piece of Red Wing pottery? I'll add elegant grasses, dried flowers and silk flowers and make a table centerpiece out of it.

RW Pottery accented with thick grasses and river rocks

Find an antique pitcher at a flea market or have a piece of pottery that's been in your family for a long time? I'll incorporate lovely, soft flowers and greens to accent the piece and you can show it off in your home for many years to come.

See Home Collection for other focal pieces.

Have a special container that you do not want in contact with hot glue, which is commonly used in arrangments, for fear of damage? No problem - I will use washable glue or no glue at all in the piece. Floral foam (not to be confused with styrofoam) is a great product in that flower stems do not have to be glued in place so, in many cases, glue can be avoided all together.

If you have an idea of what type of arrangement you like, or even if you don't, please check out our Design Center where we'll design a custom silk floral arrangement that meets your style and design needs.
